The Consultancy

    Amera Travel Consulting

Buyer perspective. Market development. Strategic representation.

Amera Travel Consulting brings more than 20 years of experience across travel, meetings, hospitality, and business events to understanding buyer priorities, interpreting market conditions, developing relationships, and helping organizations strengthen how they are positioned in the market.

    Where Buyer Perspective Becomes Strategy

Amera Travel Consulting works at the intersection of buyer perspective, market strategy, industry relationships, and destination and hospitality expertise.

The work begins with understanding what is happening in the market, what matters to buyers, and where friction or opportunity exists. From there, the focus turns to positioning, relationships, and the strategic decisions that can make an organization easier to understand, easier to engage, and easier for buyers to evaluate.

My experience across both the buyer and industry sides of the business informs that perspective. I understand how ideas move from positioning and conversation into evaluation, decision-making, and ultimately the experience itself.

    How Amera Travel Consulting Works

    01

    Market Intelligence & Buyer Perspective

Understanding buyer priorities, changing expectations, decision dynamics, market signals, and the factors that influence confidence.

The goal is not simply to track what is happening across the meetings and business-events market, but to interpret what those shifts mean for destinations, hospitality organizations, suppliers, and industry partners.

What is happening in the market, and what matters to buyers?

    02

    Market Development & Strategic Representation

Supporting organizations as they strengthen their market presence, positioning, relevance, and understanding of the audiences they want to serve.

This work may include market development, strategic representation, market positioning, and identifying where stronger alignment can create new opportunities for visibility, relationships, and engagement.

How should the organization respond and position itself?

    03

    Strategic Relationships & Industry Engagement

Building the relationships, partnerships, and market connections that support long-term visibility and meaningful industry engagement.

The emphasis is on understanding the right conversations, the right relationships, and how those connections support a broader market strategy.

Who does the organization need to understand, engage, and build relationships with?

    Destination Intelligence Brief

What helps the buyer say yes.

Destination Intelligence Brief is Amera Travel Consulting's published analysis of the meetings, events, destination, and hospitality market through the lens of buyer decision-making.

Each issue examines the signals shaping buyer confidence and destination decision-making, including changing expectations, market friction, operational credibility, and the evidence organizations need to become easier to understand, justify, and select.

The objective is not to summarize industry news. It is to interpret what current market conditions mean for the people making decisions and the organizations working to earn their confidence.

It brings together intentional travel, connection, wellness, and shared experience in ways that recognize the realities of life before and after bariatric surgery.

Founder & Principal Consultant, Amera Travel Consulting

I have spent more than 20 years working across travel, meetings, business events, hospitality, and experience design, building a career around how people move, connect, gather, and make decisions.

My experience spans destination marketing, buyer relationships, strategic partnerships, meetings and events, travel, and program operations. That operating background gives me a practical perspective on both the strategy behind an opportunity and what it takes for that strategy to hold up in the real world.

I hold the Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate (HMCC) and Medical Meeting Planner (MMP) certification. Those credentials add another layer of perspective to my work, particularly where healthcare, wellness, compliance, and participant experience intersect.

Today, I bring that experience together through Amera Travel Consulting, using market perspective, relationships, and industry knowledge to help organizations better understand where they fit, how they show up, and what the market is asking of them.
